The digital age has ushered in a golden era of for Academic Medical Centers where the institution is becoming the content hub, and one of the greatest challenges presented these academic medical centers is selecting what content will appeal to which consumers across the most accessible platform.

Hendrik, formally know as The CV Group, was formed as a partnership to provide custom software development services in 1998. By 2004 the CV group client list included but was not limited to: Levi Straus, Chicago Bridge & Iron, J. Ray McDermott Engineering, Hull & Associates, Atec Aerospace, and The Texas Medical Center. President and COO, Josh van Nifterik, rebranded CV Group as Hendrik in 2005.

In January 2011, Hendrik began the development of its live online content capture, delivery and archival solution with The Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center.

In the beginning January 2012, Hendrik hired LASEAS LLC a strategic healthcare consulting firm to develop it’s go to market strategy and initiate partnership agreements with key US academic medical centers for its content capture solution. LASEAS LLC was founded by Mark Sangster and has provided consulting and advisory services to various companies including Exxon, Spring Branch Medical Center, and MedPoint Health Partners. Mark Sangster had dedicated his career to healthcare and his experiences in a wide variety of healthcare environments provided him with unique understanding of US Academic Healthcare - specifically, the unrealized value and the potential monetization of content generation within both academic medical centers and medical schools.

In April 2012, Hendrik Inc rebranded as Hendrik Information Systems and Mark Sangster was appointed to the position of CEO, while Josh van Nifterik holds the position of President and Jason Deere it's Chief Technology Officer.
